Alex Cotton has supposedly received an offer from HC Fribourg-Gottéron for next season, but there are also other interested parties. The defenseman's contract with Lada Togliatti will expire at the end of May.
Cotton has been playing in Europe for the past four seasons. He started in Finland, then went to Sweden, played in Slovakia last season and played in the KHL this season. He appeared in 63 games for Lada Togliatti this season, recording four goals and 21 assists.
