EHC Olten's Michael Tobler on his way to playoff final opponent SCL Tigers?

With HC Ajoie's Matthias Mischler being rumored as the new number one netminder of EHC Olten for the next season, it looks as if there is no room for Tobler, whose contract is expiring at the end of this season.

Now the 29-year-old could be on his way to EHC Olten's current opponent in the NLB playoff final, the SCL Tigers, to reinforce them on the goalie position and form a duo with current starter Damiano Ciaccio.

SCL's team manager Jörg Reber, however, is not ready to commit to anything: "I am aware that Michael Tobler has no new contract in Olten yet and that he is looking for a new job because Mischler already signed there. Apart from that I only say: no comment." (lcu)
