Last Autumn, the intention to integrate Bomo Thun into the SCB Eishockey AG was made known, now it has been done.

swisshockeynews.ch

EV Bomo Thun's last game as their own team was Game 5 of the playoff final series where they were moments away from winning the title, but did not manage to pull through. In the future, they will go hunting for a title as part of SC Bern's organization and under the name "SC Bern Frauen".

The integration of Bomo into the SCB was finalized in May and, starting today, June 1, the club is part of the SCB Eishockey AG as an independent legal personality.

"We are very much looking forward to the cooperation and are happy that SC Bern will be able to provide a women's team from the coming season onwards", COO Pascal Signer - he will be responsible for the SCB Frauen - states. "With the integration, we want to promote women's ice hockey in the region in a targeted manner. We are convinced that all parties will benefit from this new constellation."
