A new import for the EV Zug Frauen has been acquired. Millie Rose Sirum joins the PostFinance Women's League from Skellefteå AIK (SDHL), where she spent this past winter. In Zug, the 25-year-old signed a deal for the coming season.
"Millie was our top choice for one of the import spots", head coach Daniela Diaz notes. "I am convinced that, with her leadership skills and her playing style, she’s a perfect fit for our team.
Before her time in Sweden, Sirum spent eight years in the US; first at Kent School (USHS), then at the College of the Holy Cross (NCAA). Her career started in Jordal, a neighborhood in Oslo.
"I am really looking forward to my new challenge in Zug", Srium states. "I cannot wait to meet my teammates in person this August and get started with the 2026–27 season in a new environment."
Besides Sirum, Zug wants to sign another import, plus add four junior players. Other than that, their squad is set.
