"The time is now ripe to take a step back and allow new impetus to take hold. In terms of the future direction, this is the right moment," explains Köbi Kölliker, who will stay in an advisory capacity as a member of the board. Kölliker's replacement is Tess Allemann, a former player of the SC Bern Frauen.

Allemann, 27, played for the SC Bern Frauen from their creation in 2023 until the end of the past season, celebrating a Swiss championship this past spring. "In Tess, we have found a suitable successor. She knows our club and the region very well and, as a long-time player for the SCB Frauen and a former national player, brings valuable experience in women's ice hockey," states Nina Kindschi, CEO of the club.
