The two EV Zug forwards have decided to play college hockey in the future. While Herzig will join a team next season, Wey will leave EVZ in 2026.

Naemi Herzig will play for Holy Cross University (Massachusetts, USA) as of next season. The 17-year-old forward made her debut for the national team last season and also played in her first World Championship. This season, she has recorded two goals and two assists in eleven games for EV Zug.

Ivana Wey, for her part, will stay one year longer with EV Zug and then join Northeastern University (Massachusetts, USA). Wey also played her first in her first World Championship last season but has been suiting up for the national team since the 2021-22 season. She has put up six goals and seven assists in eleven games for the Bulls this season.
