Women's League

Three years of not playing hockey are enough - the forward has decided to unretire and join her sister in the Swiss capital.

Another Waidacher sister is back in the PostFinance Women's Hockey League - this time as a player. After Nina (now Kindschi) was recently announced as assistant coach of the SC Bern Frauen, Isabel is following suit. She has signed a one-year deal with Bern.

Waidacher initially retired in 2021 as a member of the Lions Frauen, alongside her two sisters. At that point, she had played 196 games in the top Swiss women's league, recording 151 goals and 199 assists. Besides her time with the Lions, she also spent one season in Sweden and one in North America.
