Women's League

Twelve players are departing, nine new ones and a coach are joining - the Dragons will look quite different going into next season.

In net, the Fribourg-Gottéron Ladies are bidding farewell to Margaux Favre (leaving for the NCAA's Merrimack College) and Aurélie Roehrich. In their stead, they welcome Kärpät's Kati Asikainen and Selina Steiner who has already made some appearances for them last season.

On defense, Sarina Bardil, Léana Gerber, Tanner Gates, Kayla Ramseier and Georgia Kraus are out. Lauren Dabrowski from the SDHL's SHE Hockey as well as Nora Daneel and Marie-Sophie Müller, both from the HCD Ladies, are joining.

On offense, Alexandra Despont, Ines Vuilleumier, Amélie Grossenbacher, Betty Jouanny and even their best scorer, Eleri MacKay, are leaving. They are replaced by Maggy Burbidge (St.Francis Xavier University, Canada), another HCD Ladies-member in Reece Diener, plus Jenna Suokko and Jade Surdez from the SC Bern Frauen.

The Dragons also have a new coach, Mathieu Echenard. He hs been working in Lausanne HC's youth department the last four years.
