Netminder Chiara Pfosi, as well as forwards Jael Manetsch and Ivana Wey will all stick around.

Members of EV Zug's women's team since its recreation in 2023, the trio of Chiara Pfosi, Jael Manetsch, and Ivana Wey will remain on board. Forward Wey is staying for one more year, and netminder Pfosi and forward Manetsch are until 2027.

Wey's extension and then eventual departure were already revealed back in November when it was announced that the currently 19-year-old would move overseas to join the NCAA's Northeastern University in 2026. "Thanks to the semi-professional conditions at EVZ, Ivana can prepare herself in the best possible way for her next career step in North America", head coach Daniela Diaz notes.

Fellow youngster Manetsch (17) has been splitting time between the Post Finance Women's League and the SWHL B, with EHC Sursee. "Jael has benefited greatly from taking on a different role at Sursee and has grown as a player and a person this season", as Diaz is cited.

Pfosi shares Zug's net with Eveliina Mäkinen, so far making eleven appearances to the Finn's 14. "She has accepted the new challenge in the PostFinance Women's League in the best possible way and has once again made great progress since the summer", Diaz states.
