Alexei Krutov, son of Vladimir Krutov, will join the from the VHL team Khimik Voskresensk. The 34-year-old forward is in possession of a swiss player's license and thus does not count as an import player. Last season, he played 15 games for Spartak Moskva in the KHL in addition to six games for Voskrensenk.

Furthermore, the Red Ice has signed HC La Chaux-de-Fonds' Lionel Girardin. In the beginning of March, HCC announced that they likely won't extend his contract. However, the 27-year-old defenseman has found a new employer for the upcoming season.

Moreover, HC Red Ice has extended the contract of defenseman Mark Vermeille, who joined them last summer, for one additional season. According to team manager Albert Marglin, his roster, however, is still not complete. As a consequence, he is still looking for two more defensemen and two or three forwards, including one import player. (bsc)
