Derek Roy leaves SC Bern and joins HK Avangard Omsk in the KHL

After a one-year stint with SC Bern, Derek Roy packs his bags and moves to the east. As the KHL team HK Avangard Omsk announces, they have inked the 33-year-old Canadian forward to a one-year contract.

Roy joined SC Bern from Edmonton in summer last year and managed to put up twelve goals and 30 assists in a total of 49 appearances for them during the 2015-16 season. (rlu)
