As Chris McSorley already revealed to Le Matin Dimanche last weekend, Travis Ehrhardt has indeed signed a contract with Genève-Servette HC for the 2016-17 season.

The 27-year-old Canadian will thus be the Grenats' fifth import player this season. Ehrhardt will already play his first game for the Eagles this evening. "He is a defenseman who works hard for his team and who already knows European ice hockey," Chris McSorley tells about the lastest addition to his team.

The past two seasons, however, Ehrhardt played for the Utica Comets of the AHL. In 68 games for them last season, the defenseman scored six goals and 20 assists for a total of 26 points.
