"I think we will be a top club in the future," Genazzi states. He first joined Lausanne in 2013 after his former team, the SCL Tigers, were relegated to the NLB. Now, the 28-year-old defenseman and forward, who is currently the team's top scorer, will stay with the Lions until the end of the 2021-22 season.
Ever since joining Lausanne, Genazzi has played 183 games for the Lions. In 15 games this season thus far, he has scored six goals and nine assists for a total of 15 points.
