mt_ignoreAccording to Le Matin, Romain Loeffel has extended his contract with Genève-Servette HC. Reportedly, the 24-year-old defenseman will stay in Geneva through to the end of the 2017-18 season.

Loeffel joined Geneva in the midst of the 2013-2014 season, when he was traded from Fribourg to Geneva in exchange for John Fritsche and Jérémie Kamerzin. This season thus far, the defenseman has put up 20 points (5 goals, 15 assists) in 24 games for the Grenats. (bsc)
