Filippo Lombardi had already revealed the deal to RSI earlier this week, but the club has now issued their official confirmation. The 33-year-old forward joined HC Ambrì-Piotta this summer from HC Fribourg-Gottéron and has since then appeared in 28 games for them, scoring nine goals and seven assists. (mso)

Confirmed - Thibaut Monnet stays with Ambrì for another two years
As HC Ambrì-Piotta announces, they have agreed on a two-year contract extension with Thibaut Monnet. The forward will thus stay with the Biancoblù until the end of the 2017-18 season.
