Last season, Meyer played 62 games for the Oil Kings and managed to score 14 goals and 14 assists for a total of 28 points. After one season in North America, the 19-year-old decided to return to Switzerland because he will likely not be considered in the upcoming NHL draft.

17-year-old center Nico Hischier, who played 15 games in NLA last term, would like to spend the next season in North America, but he has not taken a decision yet. SC Bern's team manager Alex Chatelain, however, still hopes that Hischier will stay with the Bears. (bsc)
