As Genève-Servette HC announces, they have signed Tim Traber to a two-year contract extension. Thus, the Swiss-Canadian forward will stay with the team until the end of the 2017-18 season.

The 23-year-old forward reportedly also had received offers from EV Zug and HC Ambrì-Piotta for the upcoming season, but apparently the Eagles offered him the best deal.

Traber joined the Grenats in 2014 and has appeared in 54 games for them since then. Due to injuries, he was not able to play a lot last season, only appearing in nine regular season games and in eleven playoff games (one goal, two assists). His contract runs through 2018. (mso)
