After announcing the contract extensions of Joel Steinauer and Thomas Studer just last week, EHC Winterthur has also extended the contracts of as many as six players for one or two more seasons.

The 23-year-old forward Joshua Theodoridis will stay in Winterthur for two more years. He joined them in 2013 after playing two seasons in the NLB for EHC Basel. This season thus far, he has appeared in 32 games for EHC Winterthur, scoring seven points (three goals, four assists).

Fordwards Philip Beeler, Luka Hoffmann, Thomas Furrer, and Anthony Staiger as well as defenseman Thomas Büsser have all signed a one-year contract extension. Their new contracts are valid until the end of the 2016-17 season. (bsc)
