The 20-year-old goaltender Ivars Punnenovs has been in the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers' organisation since 2012 and has completed 36 NLA games during his stint with the Lakers. If the rumors are indeed true, he would form a new goalie duo with Damiano Ciaccio, since Jonas Müller, who was on loan from the Kloten Flyers, will definitely leave the Tigers.
As for Nils Berger, he had only recently signed a contract extension with the Lakers, a deal that was, like many others, supposedly voided with the club's relegation. The 24-year-old forward is a product of Rapperswil's organisation and has appeared in 216 games for them, scoring 17 goals and 22 assists. (mso)
