As EHC Biel informs, Marc-Antoine Pouliot will join the team with immediate effect. Pouliot and EHC Biel have agreed to a contract until the end of the current season. HC Fribourg-Gottéron is looking for a new import player.

Pouliot will already scratch the ice for practise with his new team on Tuesday. The 31-year-old forward started the season with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, however, his contract has been dissolved after an internal suspension. Pouliot forgot to take his skates to a game in Zug at the beginning of October. Since then, he has been looking for a new team.

With EHC Biel now he has found one, and it is kind of a return for the Canadian. Pouliot has already played for Biel in the 2012-13 season, in which he was able to put up 40 points (9 goals) in 48 games. As for this season, he scored three points (one goal) for the Dragons in eight games. Besides Robbie Earl (USA), Mike Lundin (USA), Jacob Micflikier (CAN) and Toni Rajala (FIN), Pouliot is the fifth import player for EHC Biel.

As HC Fribourg-Gottéron announces on their part, the club is looking for another import player in replacement for Pouliot. The Dragons inform in a press release, that they will sign a new player in the next couple of days.
