mt_ignoreAccording to the Blick, SC Bern and Alain Berger have agreed on terms on a four-year contract extension. The 24-year-old forward will thus stay with the Bears at least until 2020.

The younger brother of teammate Pascal Berger made his NLA-debut with SC Bern during the 2007-08 season, before he moved overseas two years later to play with the Oshawa Generals (OHL) and the Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL) for three and a half seasons.

Since his return from North America in November 2012, Berger has appeared in 164 games for the Bears, in which he scored 15 goals and 20 assists for 35 points. (rlu)
