MEDICAL REPORT - As the Journal du Jura reports, EHC Biel's import-forward Ahren Spylo will miss tomorrow's game against HC Ambrì-Piotta and is doubtful to join Team Canada for the Spengler Cup in Davos.

Due to back problems he sustained in the game against LHC on December 14, Ahren Spylo has not yet been able to return to practice with the team and is therefore out for tomorrow's game.

According to EHCB-coach Kevin Schläpfer, a participation in the Spengler Cup is highly unlikely. "If he is free of pain he can join Team Canada, I have no problems with that. But Ahren should not forget his priority; and that is EHC Biel", Schläpfer tells the Journal du Jura.

On a more positive note for Biel, homecomer Mathias Joggi is set to appear in his first game back with the Seelanders since April 2006 and is expected to be paired with Dario Truttmann. Furthermore, Christian Moser will be back from his one-game stint with the SCL Tigers in the NLB.
