The 41-year-old already told 24 heures at the beginning of September that the only thing he is sure about regarding his future is that he will end his international career after the World Championship in Paris. His club career, however, will now definitely be extended until the end of the 2017-18 season.
Huet has been part of Lausanne HC's organisation since 2012 and has appeared in 218 games for them thus far. This season, he posted a .919 save percentage in the 19 games he played.
