One week ago, RSI's Paolo Laurenti reported that Sartori would extend his contract with Lugano for three more seasons. The Bianocneri have now confirmed this information. Nonetheless, the 22-year-old will likely leave the Lugano for one year. For the 2017-18 season, Sartori may play on loan for another team, in Switzerland or abroad. If needed, however, Lugano wants the opportunity to recall him at any time.

This past term, Sartori appeared in 56 games for the Bianconeri, scoring five points (one goal, four assists). In addition, he played four NLB games for the HCB Ticino Rockets.
