The 38-year-old American joined HCAP back in 2012 and has since then been an important part of their offense, scoring 64 points (23 goals, 41 assists) in 98 games over two seasons for them.
As for the contract negotiations, they have been going on since early March, but reportedly term and money were the issues back then, so it's going to be interesting to see, what HC Ambrì-Piotta comes up with, if they will indeed sign him to a new contract.
