MEDICAL REPORT - Bad news for the defending Swiss Champion. According to the Tages Anzeiger, Mathias Seger has not only sustained a contusion in his right arm last Tuesday against EV Zug (6-4 win), but a fracture.

The ZSC Lions' 37-year-old captain and core piece will undergo surgery already today and is expected to be sidelined for the upcoming eight weeks, coming back at the earliest during the possible playoff semifinals at the end of March. (rlu)
