At the 4-nations tournament in St. Gallen (August 21st to 26th), Schelling will be assisting head coach Steve Huard for the first time.
The 29-year-old retired from professional hockey past May, after 25 years on the ice.
The previous assistant coach, Melanie Häfliger, will take on a position in the staff of the Women's national team.
