For this weekend's games against the ZSC Lions and SC Bern, EHC Biel might welcome back their captain in the lineup.

Gaëtan Haas is close to his comeback
EHC Biel

After three weeks from his unlucky hip injury, sustained after being pushed into the door of EHC Biel's bench during a game, Gaëtan Haas has resumed practicing with the team but is not sure when will he return to the lineup: "I don't know" Haas answers the Bieler Tagblatt when asked as to whether he will make his comeback today, tomorrow or next Tuesday. "I have to take it step by step. I can't skip any, even though I'm very impatient" continues the 29-year-old forward.

Haas also reveals that he tried anything he could to speed up the healing process including countless visits to the doctor, physiotherapy, and massages: "I've never had so much to do off the ice. But in the end, the body simply sets the pace and has to heal on its own".

As for Luca Hischier, he practiced with the rest of the team yesterday albeit with a no-contact jersey and not for the entire session. Hischier has been dealing with the consequence of a concussion for about a week.
