According to information picked up by MySports during the first break, Boltshauser left the game with an undisclosed upper-body injury. He was replaced by youngster Stéphane Charlin for the remaining two periods.

As the Tigers' head coach Thierry Paterlini told the same source after the game, he "did not feel well after the first period and was therefore replaced".
