A member of the Swiss national team's squad for the Karjala Cup last week, Roger Karrer is now absent from Genève-Servette HC's lineup for tonight. As the Tribune de Genève writes, the defenseman is injured.
On the positive side for the Grenats, Vincent Praplan has recovered from the injury that kept him from playing with the national team. Marc-Antoine Pouliot is on his way back and is considered day-to-day. Gauthier Descloux has been able to participate in practice. Sandis Smons is likely to make his first game of the season for the Grenats tonight, he has been with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds so far this season. Eliot Berthon has returned from his stint with the same Swiss League team.
As for EHC Biel, Elvis Schläpfer has tested positive for Covid-19 and is thus out. Jere Sallinen and Damien Brunner are both dealing with muscular issues and are considered day-to-day.
