The club will have to do without their top scorer from last season, Dustin Jeffrey, for three to four months because he injured his wrist. As 24 heures writes, chances are that Cory Emmerton will join the team as reinforcement during Jeffrey's absence.

The 30-year-old Canadian played for HC Ambrì-Piotta during the last three seasons. He left them this summer for the KHL (HC Sibir Novosibirsk) but was released from his contract after eleven games (zero points) at the beginning of October.

As for Tristan Scherwey, the forward still has a contract with SC Bern until 2020. According to the Berner Zeitung, Lausanne's team manager Jan Alston has already declared the Lions' interest in signing the 27-year-old to the player and his agent.
