Earlier this month, it was reported that the forward will move back to Zurich. Now the club has officially announced it is a done deal.

The ZSC Lions have inked Diem to a two-year contract, starting next summer. It will be a return to his roots for the 21-year-old, as he was a part of the Lions' organization his whole hockey-life before joining EHC Biel in 2017. For Biel, the forward made 56 appearances so far, recording four goals and 22 assists.

"Dominik possesses a high game intelligence and has developed well in Biel. We are happy to be able to counteract the shortage on the center position with this reinforcement", ZSC-team manager Sven Leuenberger comments the signing.
