With defenseman Roger Karrer, 21, and reportedly also forward Marco Miranda, 20, moving to Genève-Servette HC, the Lions lose another prospect in the young forward Jérôme Bachofner. After he only recently ended contract talks with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, he has now signed with EV Zug until the end of the 2021-22 season.

"He's an aggressive player, who goes where it hurts and he's extremely dangerous," EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy says about their new acquisition. "At 22, he's only at the beginning of his career and still has a lot of potential."

Jérôme Bachofner made his National League debut with the ZSC Lions in the 2014-15 season. This season, he has suited up in 19 games for the Lions so far, in which he scored six goals and added five assists for a total of eleven points.
