According to the Luzerner Zeitung, it is likely the two parties will part ways at the end of the season, especially, as "Fohrler does not see his future in the Swiss League".

Fohrler has been with EV Zug's organization since the 2015-16 season. He played over 30 games for the first team last season but did not manage to earn himself a spot in the first team this year. Instead, he has played 21 games for the EVZ Academy and has yet to record a single point for the Swiss League team.
