Genève-Servette HC has secured the services of another young talent for the upcoming season: Simon Le Coultre has been playing for the Moncton Wildcats in the QMJHL for the past three seasons and represented the Swiss U20 national team in the past two World Junior Championships.

"Simon is the country's best hope in defense," head coach Chris McSorley says. "Talented, intelligent, and a very good skater, Simon is also a playmaker. We are looking forward to building our defense with Simon as one of the main elements." Le Coultre will now return to Switzerland, where he is set to undergo shoulder surgery.
