The time in Zurich is up for head coach Serge Aubin and his assistant Craig Streu. As the ZSC Lions announce, they have released the two of their positions effective immediate, because there was no "sustainable progress".

The departure of Aubin as the Lions' head coach marks the return of Arno Del Curto to Zurich, who already coached the Zürcher SC From 1991 to 1993. The 62-year-old has signed a contract which is valid until the end of the current season. Del Curto will lead his first practice in Zurich as soon as tomorrow.

With his signature in Zurich, Arno Del Curto returns to a coaching job sooner than expected. He stepped down as head coach of HC Davos at the end of November 2018 after 22 years. With HCD, he won the Swiss Championship six times.

Michael Liniger, so far assistant coach for the GCK Lions, will join Del Curto as his assistant. The 39-year-old already joined the ZSC as assistant coach last season when Hans Kossmann took over from Hans Wallson - and led the Lions to the Championship title.
