As Klaus Zaugg writes in the Luzerner Zeitung, the head coach of HC Ambì-Piotta would technically be able to terminate his contract with the team, as he does not have a fixed-term deal but a normal employment contract.
"You can assume that Luca Cereda will also be our coach next season," Paolo Duca states, when asked if Cereda will make use of his unique contract situation and leave the team.
Luca Cereda has been HC Ambrì-Piotta's head coach since 2017. The team currently occupies the seventh spot in the standings.
