The SCL Tigers have signed defenseman Sebastian Schilt of HC Fribourg-Gottéron to a two-year contract, valid until 2021.

In 604 National League games, Schilt collected 110 points.

Sebastian Schilt already played for the Tigers from 2010 to 2012. After those two seasons, Schilt joined HC Fribourg-Gottéron, for which he has been playing ever since. In the current season, his seventh in Fribourg, the 31-year-old has scored three goals and put up six assists in 37 games so far.

Furthermore, Nik Hess, long-time athletics coach of the SCL Tigers and the SCL Young Tigers, takes up a new challenge after the end of the current season and leaves the SCL Tigers. Nicolas Lüthi, 27, will take over the main responsibility as an athletic trainer from the 2019-20 season on. He will be supported by Micha Ruesch.
