In an Instagram post, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers thanked the forward for services rendered in the past seven seasons. They also wish him all the best for his future.

Vogel had been with the Lakers since 2012. He will now have to look for a new home. This season, he recorded two goals and six assists in 46 games for HC Thurgau.
