HC Davos' president Gaudenz Domenig already confirmed the arrival of Aaron Palushaj to Radio Südostschweiz two weeks ago. However, the exact terms of the deal had not been disclosed at the time. The American last played for Örebrö HK, recording twelve goals and 16 assists in 31 games.

Mattias Tedenby, for his part, has also made use of an out-clause in his three-year deal with HV71 in order to join Davos. The 29-year-old Swede put up twelve goals and 20 assists in 50 regular season games for the SHL team last season.
