This speaks up for the fact that the SCL Tigers have managed to operate in the black already for the fifth consecutive season. The club's second participation in the playoffs since its introduction in 1986, their advance to the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup semifinals, the open-air derby against SCB in front of 20,000 spectators, as well as the general hockey enthusiasm and good arena utilization have contributed to the positive result in sporting and financial terms.

On another note, in view of the upcoming season, it has come to some changes within the club's leadership. Both Thomas Wyss and Martin Lenz decided to leave their positions in the Board of Directors, whereas Roland Loosli, CEO of the Albiro AG, was confirmed as a new member of it.
