EV Zug is busy with restructuring
As team manager Reto Kläy tells the Luzerner Zeitung, their decision had nothing to do with DiPietro himself. The move became necessary due to the restructuring of their sports sector. DiPietro had been with the National League team since 2015.
The Bulls have hired Fabian Balmer (goalie coach of the EVZ Academy and the U17 team), Corsin Camichel (assistant coach EVZ Academy), and Sven Lindemann (coach of the U15 team). As a result, there was no room for DiPietro left. The team is currently still looking for a successor of Lars Weibel as Head of The Hockey Academy.
