EV Zug's team manager is screening the market for a suitable playoff reinforcement - and is in talks with Kovář and Lindberg.

EVZ wants to add another import-forward for the playoffs.

"It is very likely that we will become active on the market," Reto Kläy says to the Luzerner Zeitung and adds: "We will probably acquire a forward." At the moment, EV Zug has only four import-players on their roster, all forwards: Carl Klingberg, Erik Thorell, Oscar Lindberg, and Jan Kovář.

Whereas Klingberg and Thorell have valid contracts for next season, Kläy is in talks with Lindberg, whose contract includes an option for next year, and with their Czech forward Jan Kovář: "I have received positive signals from him. He feels very comfortable here," Kläy says about Kovář. "We definitely want to keep him." Kläy is also in constant contact with Lindberg, but: "A decision has not yet been made."

Together with Gregory Hofmann, Jan Kovář is currently EV Zug's top scorer with 37 points (eleven goals) in 34 games. Oscar Lindberg has recorded 20 points (eleven goals) in 31 games so far.
