Although it is not certain that the championship can actually resume on March 17, given that the situation caused by the Covid-19 is constantly evolving, some clubs want to keep the focus high by organizing preparatory games.

So far, it is known that EV Zug will host the ZSC Lions on March 13. Moreover, the two clubs should also play against their own farm-team, i. e. the EVZ Academy and the GCK Lions, the Neue Zürcher Zeitung reports.

According to the Journal du Jura, EHC Biel supposedly will play against HC Fribourg-Gottéron and the SCL Tigers, however, the place and the time of the two games are kept secret for health reasons. As for Lausanne HC, they are reportedly playing against HC Ambrì-Piotta, the Walliser Bote reveals. The newspaper also writes about EHC Visp's interest in organizing a game against a club in the National League, a quest that has not been successful so far.

For his part, HC Lugano will face EHC Kloten on March 11 in Kloten and Genève-Servette HC on March 13 in Burgdorf, while HC Davos decided not to organize any friendly game as Raeto Raffainer, HCD's team manager, tells the Südostschweiz: "We are convinced that we can achieve the necessary intensity in practice as well.".
