Former SC Bern defender Bernd Wolf returns to Switzerland

Bernd Wolf confirmed his departure from EC VSV and his signing with HC Lugano via the EBEL team's Facebook account. Martin Quendler of the Kleine Zeitung already reported back in November that the 23-year-old defenseman would likely suit up for the Bianconeri in the 2020-21 season.
The Austrian defenseman is in possession of a Swiss players' license as he played for SC Bern during his junior years. He spent the last two seasons back in Austria, playing for the Villach. This season, he recorded two goals and six assists in 42 games for the EBEL team.
