Will he stay or will he go? Although EV Zug's roster planning for the 2020-21 season is almost complete, there are still some open spots to be filled.

Oscar Lindberg
EV Zug

One spot is the one of Swedish forward Oscar Lindberg, who joined the Bulls last summer and is in possession of a one-year contract including option: "From a sporting point of view, nothing stands in the way of a contract extension. There is interest from both sides," EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy explains. "Due to the Coronavirus crisis, however, several negotiations are currently on hold. I hope that we can settle that one down in April."

In addition, there are still some open questions when it comes to the future of forward Andreas Martinsen ((NOR)) and some positions in Zug's defense. With Tobias Geisser (Washington Capitals) and Nico Gross (Oshawa Generals) - still under contract with their respective North American teams - there are always some kind of possibilities. A signing of a another foreign defender, however, is not excluded. Either way, EVZ is aiming to use (more) regularly youngsters in their offensive and defensive area in the future, the club announces.
