Viktor Östlund still looking for a new opportunity

"Right now I am training and keeping in shape. I want to return to Switzerland, but am open for the most part," Viktor Östlund tells hockeysverige.se. He adds, however, that above all, he wants to end up somewhere he can develop even more and contribute. Whether that will be in Switzerland or in Sweden remains to be seen.
Östlund was signed to a short-term contract by HC Ambrì-Piotta in July 2019. His deal was eventually extended at the end of 2019 until the end of the 2019-20 season. He appeared in three games for the National League team and in 17 for the HCB Ticino Rockets last season.
