GT, the Gothenburg edition of Expressen, reveals that Ryan Lasch might continue his career in Switzerland as EHC Biel, Genève-Servette HC, and the SCL Tigers all have submitted offers to the former player of SC Bern. Apparently, the 33-year-old hoped to receive a substantial offer from a club in the KHL, but that does not seem to have happened.

At the same time, Frölunda HC, the team for which the winger played the last three seasons, has not completely given up hope about re-signing Lasch: "It would be stupid of us to close some doors, but there is no decision here and now. We will see further ahead in August," says Frölunda's team manager Fredrik Sjöström to the Göteborgs-Posten (relayed by Expressen).

In the last season, Lasch recorded 48 points in as many regular-season games, to which he added 22 points in 13 games of the Champions Hockey League. For leading Frölunda to the final victory in the international competition, he was crowned MVP of the tournament.
