Charles Hudon to try his luck in Lausanne

There had already be interested in the Canadian forward as far back as April, as a report by Sport-Center's Grégory Beaud revealed at the time. Earlier this week, it then became clear that Lausanne HC would be Charles Hudon's next destination.
Hudon had been issued a qualifying offer by the Montreal Canadiens earlier this month, but seems now to have decided to take on a new adventure in Switzerland. He played in 15 games (one goal and one assist) for the Habs last season and in 46 games for the AHL affiliate, the Laval Rocket, recording 27 goals and eight assists.
