Whereas in Langnau you have to quickly secure your seat, in Biel and Bern you might also need a little luck to be one of the 1,000 spectators.

The Bernese clubs have to act on the new restrictions.

The principle for tonight's home game of the SCL Tigers is simple: There are 1,000 people allowed in the arena and they will be given to those fans who act the fastest and are able to reserve one of the tickets.

In Biel and Bern, there is a different approach. For tonight's game in Biel, fans were able to register - and if registrations outnumber the available seats, the club is going to hold a lottery. Also SC Bern will hand out 300 tickets by chance. The other seats are reserved for sponsors.

For now, the clubs have decided to play in front of 1,000 spectators until the international break. "Afterwards we will assess the current situation and discuss the further procedure with the league," EHCB's CEO Daniel Villard explains to the Bieler Tagblatt.
